Istanbul
Turkey
The corner where two streets meet is a building's most generous yet most difficult place. We opened the ground floor to the city and its shops, and drew the upper floors into their own quiet - movement and calm under one roof.

In a multi-block project the real subject is not the blocks, but the space left between them. We shaped that space as a living garden rather than a passage; the landscape was never an ornament added later - it became the project itself.

A narrow plot gives the architect little room to speak; every centimetre counts. We simplified the facade with vertical battens - honest and quietly elegant toward the street. Sometimes the plainest answer is the one that lasts.

A building seen from all four sides can hide no face. We joined the warmth of brick with the grain of timber - a structure that stands sure of itself from every angle. When the material is honest, the architecture follows.

The architectural shift that runs from the raw texture of a sketch line to the light of the final render. Here we underlined the massing, the contrast of materials and the depth of natural light in their plainest form.

Plan Rendering

— HOW WE WORK —
Process
The same path, every project.
The journey starts here.
Let's talk about your project
A few minutes, for the right start
This short form helps me understand your design direction. After that, we can talk about everything far more clearly.
What kind of project are we working on?
How many floors will the building have?
How does the building sit on the site?
How many sides will be visible?
What are the facade proportions?
Character of the site (you can pick more than one)
Let's find the facade approach closest to you
Once you pick a design, we will settle the colour and material palette.
Choose the colour and material palette
Material and colour variations of the facade you chose.
How would you describe your design direction?
One last step
So that I can get back to you.
— YOUR FORM HAS ARRIVED —
Thank you
I will go through your answers and get back to you shortly. In the meantime, feel free to write directly if anything comes to mind.
